THINGS
My new favourite blog, a reference pit of many things including all our favourite pop culturists, a slightly obsessive collection of Nicki Minaj candy porn and Chanel show stills from the fashion graveyard:

ISN'T HE DIVINE?
Some would say i'm a huge fan of the filmmaker John Waters. Others would say that i'm head over heels in love with him.
I guess I just hold a lot of respect for him and his offbeat and filthy films.
Earlier in the year I was lucky enough to have had the chance to see John Waters' live spoken word show 'This Filthy World' at the Sydney Opera House. He spoke about Divine, Politics, the often repulsive gay world, and of course RUSH (which made it refreshing to know that poppers is a hobby of his).
Apart from the fact that he idolizes Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garcons fame, my interest in John Waters does not in anyway intersect with my interest in fashion, however they do seem to sit nicely together on my shelf of interests. Filth and Fashion. All good things start with an F.
If there are any of you who are yet to discover the wonderful world of Waters, go and buy his newest book 'Role Models', then watch all of his films, and fall in love with him as I have.
Oh, and also, watch the three part interview with John from Andy Warhol TV from 1981.
Oh, and also also, how strange is it that John's from Baltimore, where all of his films are set, and as I type this, Silence of The Lambs is playing in the background, a film also set in Big Bad Baltimore. I dream of such a land.
