A relatively unfamiliar name in the thorough histories of the Surrealist art movement is Victor Brauner, a Romanian Jewish artist who's paintings many would liken to the works of Miro and Arp, and sculptures to those by Man Ray.
It's easy to appreciate his use of bright and poppy colours, his obsession with animals, and the somewhat sexual approach that he exhibits in his works.
Loves it.
